About Dr. Elizabeth O'Keefe


Hello, I'm Dr. Elizabeth O'Keefe-Morse (Dr. O'Keefe).  If you are reading this, it most likely means you or someone you love is struggling emotionally.  I would be happy to assist you in finding healthy ways to manage sadness, anxiety, or stress, cope with painful or traumatic experiences, and increase your self-esteem.

Background & Experience

Dr. O'Keefe is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist.  She completed her undergraduate work at Fordham University and received her doctorate in a combined School & Community Psychology program from Hofstra University.  Her New York state license number is 019862.  Dr. O'Keefe uses a combination of empirically validated therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (including Trauma-Focused CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness strategies.
